For obvious reasons, road trips are one of the most popular trends in travel. It’s all about the vast open spaces of national parks in the US. Spring is a great time to go because it’s mild and there are fewer tourists. 

On this list of best spring break destinations for families, you’ll find skiing and beaches.

Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida, offers a beautiful spring break destination for families.

You can do so many fun things with your kids in Orlando. Orlando is home to many of the best theme parks in the country, along with a wide range of outdoor activities for the entire family. Plus, the weather is always warm here!

Some manatees are still around from the previous winter. You can go kayaking, rafting, or swimming in the springs. These springs are beautiful to explore for a half day.

Near Orlando, you will find the Kennedy Space Center. About an hour’s drive west of downtown Orlando is the Kennedy Space Center. There is so much here to see that you should make this a one-day trip.

San Luis Obispo is located in California

This coastal city between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Pacific Ocean is second on the list of best spring break destinations for families and has ideas for spring break family vacations. Morro Bay offers bird watching, kayaking, and oyster farm tours. Mitchell Park is the perfect place for a picnic.
